My name is Ella Mitcham and I'm an original native of Newton, located in the western part of North Carolina. My pursuit of music brought me to Campbell University where I began my studies in 2013. I recently graduated from Campbell in December 2019 with a Bachelors in Education with a concentration in music. During my time at Campbell I met my now fiancé Jonathan Lazenby who also holds a bachelors and 2 master degrees from Campbell. I believe God has instilled within me the gift of singing and that through music it is my obligation as a believer to share his message through song. In addition to singing my secondary instrument of choice is the trombone which I have played almost 13 years now. I enjoy every aspect of the outdoors and when the weather starts heating up I look forward to attending classic car shows.I Am grateful that God has led me here to Baptist Grove so I can be a servant to lead his people through music.
Hello. my name is Parker Wertz and I live in Garner, NC. I have had the privilege of growing up in a great Christian family and the Lord saw fit to draw me to himself when I was only 6 years old. I have been playing piano since I was 7 years old and I just knew from then on that that was the instrument I wanted to play. I graduated from Campbell University in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance. I am so thankful to be that God has endowed me with the gift of music in piano so that I can serve and be a blessing to the people here at Baptist Grove. Also, I love me some Alabama Football, Duke basketball, and some Pittsburgh Steelers football.
